World Scholar’s Cup: Explore, Debate, and Connect with the World

The World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) is more than a competition—it’s an international festival of learning that brings students from around the globe together to explore a variety of disciplines through debate, collaborative writing, and team challenges. This 20-week course prepares students ages 12-18 to compete in the World Scholar’s Cup, developing the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this unique event that combines academics, critical thinking, and global connection.

What is the World Scholar’s Cup?

The World Scholar’s Cup is an international academic competition that challenges students to delve into science, history, literature, social studies, and more. Participants engage in team debates, collaborative writing, multiple-choice quizzes, and a group event known as the Scholar’s Bowl. With each round, students broaden their perspectives, engage with diverse topics, and hone skills that will serve them in academics and beyond. Past events have been held in exciting global locations, including Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, and Barcelona, with final rounds taking place at Yale University.
